GANGASAGAR
Unicef type hand pumps are developed to meet water requirements
for both rural & city areas. This pump is best suited
for borewell sizes 4", 5", 6" and open
well too. It can be fitted directly on borewell casing
pipes without base flange.
The design of this pump is having an international standard.
The pump's design is based on only one conventional pin,
as a fulcrum instead of three pins in the other types
of pumps. This type of design consideration makes this
pump frictionless smooth running, this type of pump require
low maintenance. Every care has been taken to maintain
accuracy & interchangeability. |

The pump is constructed in three different sections.
- Top end mechanism i.e. Head and handle
assembly.
- Water Chamber i.e. Water tank assembly.
- Stand assembly. |

Cast iron Deep Well Hand pump |

GANGASAGAR single piece type and two piece type, single
guided and double guided Cast iron Deep Well pumps are
lift & press type hand pumps. This pump can fetch
water from bore as well as open well. Its water drawing
capacity is 15 meters.
It is so designed and fabricated that when the pump is
in operation it gives continuous flow of water with minimum
strength and smooth operation. Since it is hand driven,
14" X 2 1/2" heavy duty cylinder is recomended. |

Data
Mostly 2 1/2" or 3" cylinders being used.
A 2 1/2" cylinder draws water from the depth of
150 fts. ( 50 mtr.) and a 3" cylinder from 75 fts.
( 25 mtr.) If the pump is operated at ratio of 40 per
minute with 6" stroke, it draws water as under.
